WOD – Workout of the day!

Constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement.

All classes will complete the same workout on any weekday. Monday through Friday are programmed with a balance of strength, gymnastics, Olympic lifting, and conditioning.

WODs can be tailored to challenge athletes of any level in a variety of ways such as load, range of motion, rep schemes, or choosing an alternate exercise that engages a similar muscle group.

An example day for three different athletes could look like the below:

Diane - RX
Reps 21-15-9
Deadlift 100/70kg
Handstand push ups

Diane - version 2
Reps 21-15-9
Deadlifts 70/45kg
Handstand pushups (1/2 depth)

Diane - version 3
Reps 21-15-9
Kettlebell swings
Push ups

 

This known CrossFit WOD can be modified by reducing the load on the deadlifts and depth on the HSPU.

We adapt the daily program for any injuries that athletes may have and encourage everyone to continue training when they are injured. Modifications can be made to keep atheletes training and working towards their goals.

We tailor WODs to each athlete’s ability in order to achieve the same stimulus and maintain correct positioning throughout.

CrossFit Oblivion follows Starr Strength Affiliate Program. The Starr Strength team has over 12 years of programming experience across more than 10 locations giving them a deep understanding of what it takes to program for an affiliate.

Timetable

We have classes running from 6:00 am through to 6:00 pm so there is something for everyone. All classes run for 1 hour.

*We operate a reduced timetable on public holidays and between Christmas and New Year. If you are looking to join us during those times please get in contact to check the class times.
